My name is Joseph 'JoJo' Reaves and after some time of thinking it over and posting Facebook statuses and tweets that have been described as legendary I have finally decided to venture into this world of blogging! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I am a Sophomore @ The Mecca, The Hilltop, The Real HU, The Center of Black Higher Education - Howard University and for the past two years I have been in the Joseph Reaves program but I am finally declaring Sociology as my major and African American Studies as my major (Somebody give God a praise for structure! HEY GLORY!). I am a Jesus Freak who comes out of the Pentecostal Tradition and as a Young Adult defining his faith for himself have been irrevocably shaped by The Church of God in Christ, Bishop G.E. Patterson, Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark, The Clark Sisters, The Unity Fellowship of Christ Movement, Bishop Yvette Flunder and the Radically Inclusive Movement, and Pastor O.C. Allen III. I am also openly and unabashedly homosexual, I no longer believe that my homosexuality puts me out of The Will of God and I believe that I can have a Godly, Christ-Conscious, Biblically Upstanding, Morally and Ethically Responsible, Erotic/Love Relationship with another man. I also celebrate and embrace Sex, Sexuality, Sensuality, and Erotica as powerful moves and manifestations of God.
